San Juan Storage Basket

One of Leah's original basket styles, the San Juan round storage baskets have two naturally tanned leather handles and are sustainably made in three convenient sizes: small, medium, and large. Artisans from Guerrero, Mexico spend up to several days making these baskets using a traditional hand braiding technique with locally sourced palm straw materials.

The San Juan is our favorite style to use as gift baskets with handles, a thoughtful surprise for a baby shower, a wedding, or for a housewarming idea. The smallest size is a nice option as a catchall for an entryway, on a desk, or storing hand towels in a bathroom. For the larger round baskets, they can hold decorative pillows, cozy blankets, and bath towels.
