Staring at the Sea - Laguna Beach Edition
Reliving our favorite moments from a recent photoshoot in Southern California’s vibey coastal town.
There’s a reason why a television show was created and named “Laguna Beach,” one of the most beautiful and iconic beach towns we’ve been to. Just an hour up the coast from San Diego, we ventured to Laguna Beach for the backdrop to our Fall/Winter ‘22 photoshoot - the nostalgia was thick that day. The star of the shoot in every way, the lighting from the golden hour sun shined just bright enough and the crashing waves were right on cue. Mother nature was on our side at every angle for shooting our new collection, inspired by a ‘Staring at the Sea’, coastal sunset aesthetic. Each moment was artfully encapsulated on film by the Jessie Jean Photography team as our stunning model, Hannah Fuchser, served all the looks - on the rocks and by the water. The local beach goers and surfers started to thin out as the sun retreated, leaving us with a slightly moodier, ocean-mist-kissed scenery. At the end of that late summer afternoon in Laguna Beach, we knew the soul of our first Fall/Winter hat collection was captured perfectly.

Designed with coastal tones and an organic color palette, each wool felt hat in the new Fall/Winter collection is handcrafted by Puebla, Mexican artisans in an ethical trade environment - sourcing the finest sustainable wool from South America. The collection features three ready to wear styles: the Elise Fedora in brown, Kiss Me Fedora in charcoal, tan, and white, and the Smith Rancher in black and brown - each hat is adorned with a genuine leather removable hat band.
